Hey Everyone! My name is Martha and I am currently serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco. Here in Morocco, I am a youth development volunteer. I also plan to eat an absurd amount of couscous, hike through the Atlas mountains, and learn to speak fluent Darija (hey, a girl can dream!)
I am a recent college graduate from the University of Michigan where I majored in Political Science and French with a minor in International Studies. During college I also was a member of Amnesty International, a charitable organization called PROVIDES, as well as a player on an inner tube water polo team. After the Peace Corps, I hope to eventually get a masters in Public Policy and then pursue my dream career at either the United Nations, UNESCO, the State Department, USAID, or for a non-profit. In my spare time I love to read, watch excessive amounts of television (The Office is my favorite), speak French, do crossword puzzles, grab a drink with friends at a local bar, and play games with my family.
